Andrew Blubaugh is a former US Marine, serving with the Marine Corps’ FAST (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team) Company before transitioning to law enforcement. After his military service, he spent 23 years as a police officer with Wadsworth,OH Police Department. Andrew was a dedicated member of Medina County SWAT for 22 years, ultimately retiring as the assistant team commander.
Andrew developed a passion for teaching use of force and firearms-related skills, becoming a sought-after instructor for both commercial and government organizations. His commitment to law enforcement education led him to start his own training company, which includes a dedicated training facility where he continues to mentor and train civilians and law enforcement officers.
Andrew is a regular instructor at the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) conference, where he contributes to the advancement of law enforcement training across the nation.
Outside of his professional life, Andrew is a proud husband and father of two boys. He enjoys being an assistant scoutmaster in his boys’ scout troop and volunteering for scout-related shooting activities in northeastern Ohio. Andrew also enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and backpacking.
